Investment, refurbishments and appointments at Mercure Gloucester Bowden Hall Hotel
The General Manager of the 4* Mercure Gloucester, Bowden Hall Hotel, Gavin Jones, has today announced plans for a comprehensive refurbishment of the hotel’s 72 bedrooms.
The announcement follows just weeks after the launch of the hotel’s new Bar & Brasserie Restaurant. The hotel’s stunning ballroom was redesigned two years ago, followed by the reception and public areas in 2016.
The bedroom renovation will take place gradually over the coming months whilst the hotel maintains normal business with minimal guest disruption. The new bedroom design, created by Jupiter Hotels’ interior designer, Helen Hooper of HH Interiors, will be unveiled on 19th August when the refurbishment is completed.
As business booms at Bowden Hall, the General Manager, Gavin Jones, has also announced the appointment of Rachel Wood as Hotel Sales Manager. Rachel joins the team with extensive experience gleaned at leading hotels across the Midlands.
